Putin tells govt to mull fund injections in Russian leasing firms

MOSCOW, Dec 19 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to consider budget money allocation for leasing companies that lease out Russian aircraft and sea and river vessels in 2019–2021, the Kremlin said in a statement on Wednesday.

The deadline for the ruling is set at June 1, 2019.

The government is also to work on trade-in for the purchases of Russia-made aircraft and helicopters by June 1, 2019, according to the Kremlin.

The list of rulings also contains an order for the government to consider additional support for producers of military aircraft and ships to help them make civil machines. The deadline for the ruling is April 15, 2019, the statement read.

The authorities also were ordered to think about subsidies for producers of aircraft and sea and river vessels when they start mass production and sales of their products, the Kremlin said.

Putin also ordered the government to form a common position before April 15, 2019 on prolongation of the import regime for foreign aircraft, which will become invalid after December 31, 2019.
